The head groomer of A1 Pet Grooming, Atsuko Ishikura had a speech at GroomExpo.


Atsuko was recently invited to speak at the largest pet grooming industry conference in the U.S., GroomExpo, which is held annually in Hershey, PA.

On September 13, Atsuko successfully led a seminar on The In's and Out's of House Call Grooming and she would like to thank all of her fellow colleagues and friends for their support and help in preparing for this presentation.

Atsuko is the only person who has ever groomed my Havanese one-year old puppy. She always does a terrific job of cutting his hair so that she preserves his Havanese look and he doesn't just look like every other white fluffy dog in the neighborhood. He looks great after his grooming, yet he also looks good as the hair grows out between appointments. Atsuko has a confident, firm yet friendly and understanding approach with my dog. ( He dislikes the sound of the hairdryer.)

Sam is my 12-year-old Polish Lowland Sheepdog and Atsuko has been grooming him for the past five years.

Sam has a skin condition that requires very special care. He needs to be groomed at home by someone who is very experienced and who also loves animals.
